The Sugar Association has sent a letter to Katie producer Brittany Jones-Cooper expressing disappointment regarding the inaccurate and unfounded claims about all-natural sugar made in the recent Katie segment, “Beat Your Sugar Addiction.” The Sugar Association provided the producer with accurate consumption data, as well as information to dispute false statements regarding World Health Organization Technical Report 916 and unscientific statements about health impacts of sugar.
